Please Welcome Steve Murphy From Our Niagara Division
While building a home just a few short years ago Steve quickly learned that quality, pride of workmanship and attention to detail was a lost art in the building trades today. After battling with builders, tradesmen and regional building officials alike he realized a need to inform and protect the general public of the dangers and pitfalls of building and owning a home. Out of that need Steve decided to take on a new role in life and pursue a career in Home Inspection.
After 2 years of courses Steve has obtained the credentials of a Certified Home Inspector. The following is a brief list of his accreditations:
Graduate of the Home Inspectors Institute of Ottawa
Certified through the Carson Dunlop Home Inspection program at Niagara College.
Completed the Ontario Building Officials Part 9 Building Envelope
Completed the Ontario Building Officials Part 9 Health and Safety
Completed the Ontario Association of home Inspectors Defect Recognition Course
Certified Level 1 Thermographer through the Flir Infrared Training Centre of Ontario
Member of the Professional Home and Property Inspectors of Ontario better known as PHPIO (fip-e-o)
Please refer to our "Standards of Practice" page to explain how we perform our inspection by NACHI/CAHPI/OAHI standards.
